Charline Dally, an artist based in Tiohtià:ke/Mooniyang/Montréal, is one half of the duo le désert mauve. Embracing the subversive potential of radical softness, Charline views hypersensitivity as a strength. Their practice merges analog video signals, synthetic imagery, textiles, and glass into films, installations, and performances aimed at fostering introspection and heightening attention to subtle details. With a background from Le Fresnoy - Studio national des arts contemporains and UQAM in visual arts, Charline's work has been showcased at MOCA (Toronto), MAJ (Joliette), FNC (Montréal), and CTM (Berlin), among others. They have performed audiovisual pieces at MUTEK, Transart (Bolzano), and the SAT (Montréal).
