Duchesse, a Beirut-born and Montréal-based artist, emerged from a rich artistic lineage as a classical ballet dancer and a student of guitar and music theory at the Lebanese National Higher Conservatory of Music. Her DJ career began in 2008, playing in Beirut’s burgeoning underground scene. Following a hiatus to focus on her studies and a move to Canada, Duchesse reignited her passion for music, diving into music production and performing at selective Montreal parties. Alongside her photographic pursuits, she co-founded BOHÕ, a collective aimed at uniting artists to explore and share unique soundscapes. Duchesse's mixes, known for their warmth and gradual energy shifts, encapsulate her deep connection to music and her continuous evolution in the sonic arts.
